The Neue Schule Waterford Universal is a versatile design which suits the overenthusiastic horse that has a tendancy to hold onto the bit and go, instead needing to come back and listen to the rider. The Waterford mouthpiece bends in every direction to stop the horse from being able to grab onto the bit and "hold". The NS Waterford mouthpiece has been designed to be slightly thinner to suit all types of mouth conformation, including large, fleshy tongues and lips. The LipSMART lip rests on the mouthpiece prevent the corners of the mouth from being pinched or rubbed.
The Universal cheeks offer four rein options including the curb strap and Pelham roundings, allowing the ride to tailor this bit to suit the horse. It's fantastic for use during faster work and jumping when additional control is needed. This bit also helps to promote a correct outline.
Available in 5.25 - 6.25"; 14mm mouthpiece thickness
