The Neue Schule Tranz Angled Lozenge Nelson Running Cheek Gag features Nelson full cheeks which reinforce the turning aids which is ideal for when precise steering is required (e.g. for jumping skinnies or corners cross country). It's a good bit for strong horses which respond to poll pressure, without upping the severity of the mouthpiece.
Using the running gag cheeks gives the rider two rein options, allowing varying degrees of control as and when required. The running gag rein provides poll pressure to maximise control when needed and lift from the shoulder.
The Tranz Angled Lozenge Nelson Running Cheek Gag is fantastic for use during faster work such as jumping but should only be employed by knowledgeable riders as misuse of this strong bit can cause oral damage.
